Mental Health Counseling
Common reasons for counseling include issues with managing and coping with: anxiety, depression, mood, life adjustments, relationship distress, trauma healing, grief, child and adolescent issues, or overall dissatisfaction with life. Sometimes, mental health issues present in ways that are less talked about, such as chronic irritability, dysfunctional relationships, and a consistent negative outlook on life. Life can be more than just “dealing” with your distress. If you are ready, our counselors are here to help.
Couples & Family Counseling
Couples and family therapy have a common misconception as being the “last” resort. In fact, counseling should be viewed as an integral resource that with early intervention, can be more effective. If you are interested in couples or family counseling let us know. Our counselors are ready to help.

Group Counseling
Group counseling has seen its return to the therapy world and we are embracing it. Dr. Dolph has herself been a part of amazing healing circles of women during retreats and witnessed firsthand how powerful a group can be. Group counseling can be a nice adjunct to individual therapy or can be done without it. We offer several groups that change annually.
Current Groups:
The Shedding
Dr. Kristin Dolph is hosting the annual Chinese Zodiac-inspired counseling group. 2025 is the year of the Snake, symbolizing shedding the old once protective skin and welcoming the new. In this all-women group, you will walk through the process of identifying, honoring, and shedding an old part of you and welcoming and nourishing the new. This group is conducted through a Feminist lens and will use IFS and Narrative therapy practices. Want to Join? Reach out to Dr. Dolph to inquire about openings for the May, August, or October group.
EcoTherapy Anyone?
Ecotherapy, or “nature therapy,” is an emerging type of modality that uses nature to engage the senses through mindfulness practices. Have you ever gone on a walk upset and returned feeling more hopeful? That is Mother Nature taking care of us. At Dolph Counseling & Wellness, we offer Ecotherapy practices on our beautiful patio overlooking the river. Whether it be engaging “self” energy while using IFS helping regulate a dysregulated nervous system with mindfulness practices, the patio is an amazing addition to therapy.
